Santa Rosa Charter Academy is having its 2nd Annual Spring Festival on Saturday, April 28! Come out to the Glassell Park campus for a full day of live entertainment, carnival games, and great food.
Admission is free and all proceeds will benefit the school, which serves 6th through 8th graders in Northeast Los Angeles.
The festival will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m. at SantaRosa Charter Academy (3838 Eagle Rock Blvd).

A Community Forum will be held on Tuesday, January 31, to discuss the impact of redistricting in Glassell Park.
There will also be a discussion of Verizon’s proposed 70- inch Monopine Antenna as a gateway to Glassell Park.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Glassell Park Senior and Community Center (3750 Verdugo Road).

On Sunday, January 29, St. Bernard Catholic School will host an open house at its campus (3254 Verdugo Rd) in Glassell Park.
Mass will begin at 9:30 a.m. and classrooms will be open for visitors from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This Saturday, help clean up Glassell Park as part of Glassell Park Community Pride Day!
Volunteers are needed from 8 a.m. to noon and will be meeting at the Glassell Park Recreation Center (3650 Verdugo Road).
Cleaning supplies, tools, disposal bags, gloves, snacks, and refreshments will be provided.

There is a large dumpster in front of the Glassell Park Recreation Center (3650 Verdugo Road) for local residents who have excess debris from the windstorms.
The City of Los Angeles’s Bureau of Sanitation will service the dumpster.

Vote for the Los Feliz Charter School for the Arts and help win funding for a playground at its Glassell Park campus. The school is part of a voting competition for a grant that would allow them to build a playground to give its students a space to get exercise and learn sportsmanship.
The winners are based solely on voting, and voting ends December 9. You can vote twice a day via text message or online!
