East Hollywood Farmers’ Market is open!

The East Hollywood Certified Farmers’ Market is up and running every Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Hollywood Blvd and Western Metro station.  Come get your fruits, veggies, and more!

The Farmers’ Market is also accepting applications from non-profit and community organizations who would like to hold two spaces during market hours.

Health Fair- March 24

Aztecs Rising will be hosting their 2012 Health Fair on Saturday, March 24.

Stop by for a day filled with activities, music, and entertainment!

The fair will take place at the Lemon Grove Recreation Center (4959 Lemon Grove Ave.) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Hollywood Police Activities League meeting – March 14

The Hollywood Police Activities League will host a Town Hall meeting on on Wednesday, March 14 to discuss community safety, Neighborhood Watch groups, crime updates, and more.

This is a great opportunity to support actions that make this a safer community.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Santa Monica Charter School (1022 N. Van Ness Ave).

3rd Annual East Hollywood ArtCycle

Get ready to ride on down to the 3rd Annual East Hollywood ArtCycle on Saturday, September 17, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Santa Monica Blvd. stretching from Vermont to Virgil. The event, presented by the East Hollywood Neighborhood Council and the East Hollywood Arts and Culture Committee, will showcase East Hollywood’s budding art and bicycling cultures.

More than a dozen galleries, theaters, creative venues and artist live/work spaces will open themselves up to the neighborhood for a celebration of East Hollywood. The event will also include a street fair with artists and performers displaying their creations, alongside food and live entertainment offerings for the whole family.
