Eric Garcetti’s Neighborhood Leadership Academy empowers and trains neighborhood stakeholders to become effective advocates for their communities. More than 1,000 Angelenos have participated in trainings on topics such as:

• Affecting positive community change
• Involving and developing new leadership in community organizing efforts
• Understanding the city’s legislative and planning processes
